Technion American Medical Program Brings New Tech to the Classroom

December 19, 2012

Technion American Medical Program incorporates an additional use of technology in its classrooms

The American Medical Program recently incorporated utilizing classroom clickers to maximize the learning potential of each student. Its purpose is to help communicate in the classroom and help students become more aware of difficult material.

Tali Bauman (2015) has this to say about the new classroom addition: "The clickers provide students an individualized approach to integrative and participatory learning. This method of teaching has enhanced students' attitudes towards in-class lecture while enabling professors to gauge how each student has grasped the material recently taught. Thus, the atmosphere in the classroom has become a more encouraging environment with a positive impact on the student-teacher relationship."
